SHEET 11 · LEGAL
Written to be read.
Three documents govern this site and our client work: the terms of service, the privacy policy, and the disclaimers. They are short, in plain English, and they say what we actually do.
01 / TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms of service
1.1
Using this site
The content on vyridian.org is provided for general information about our services. You may browse it, link to it, and quote it with attribution. Don't republish it as your own, and don't use the site for anything unlawful.
1.2
Quotes and scope
Every build starts with a written scope: deliverables, timeline, success criteria, and a fixed price. The written quote is the agreement that governs the work — where this page and a signed scope differ, the scope wins. Changes to scope are agreed in writing before they are built.
1.3
Payment
The discovery call is free. Strategy sessions are billed at the flat rate published on the pricing page. Build invoices follow the schedule written into the quote. If an invoice goes unpaid, work pauses until it is settled.
1.4
Ownership of paid work
When the final invoice on a build is paid, everything we made for you transfers to you: source code, accounts, infrastructure, and documentation. Pre-existing tools and general-purpose libraries we bring to a project remain ours, and you receive a license to keep using them in the delivered system.
1.5
How we reference the work
We describe client projects on this site anonymously — capability and outcome, never names — unless a client agrees in writing to be named.
1.6
Changes to these terms
We revise this page when our practice changes, and the revision date above moves when we do. Signed scopes keep the terms they were signed under.
02 / PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy policy
2.1
What we collect
The contact form asks for your name, email address, and a description of your project. We use that information to reply — nothing else. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to anything.
2.2
Analytics
The site keeps standard, aggregate analytics — page views and referrers — to understand what gets read. No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiles, and we never sell or rent data.
2.3
Writing to support@vyridian.org shares your address with us. We use it for that conversation and any work that follows. We don't add it to marketing lists.
2.4
Service providers
The site runs on third-party hosting and email infrastructure, which process data only as needed to serve pages and deliver mail on our behalf.
2.5
Removal
Want your form submissions or correspondence deleted? Email support@vyridian.org and we'll remove what we hold about you and confirm when it's done.
03 / DISCLAIMERS
Disclaimers
3.1
The site
Content here is provided as-is for general information. We keep it accurate and current, but it is not a quote or a guarantee, and we can change it without notice.
3.2
Client work
The warranties on a build are the ones written into its scope document — success criteria, acceptance, and any support terms. We stand behind those, and we make no promises beyond them.
3.3
Professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, or tax advice. Decisions in those areas belong with your own advisors.
3.4
Third-party services
Delivered systems often run on accounts you hold with third parties — hosting, model APIs, payment processors. Their terms and prices are theirs. We help you choose well, but we don't control them.
